WE. THE CLARINETS.

Van Tech's clarinet section. Totally weird. Totally nerdy. We follow band blogs religiously.

—Seal Lullaby (Wind Symphony Transcription)

Now you don’t have an excuse saying, “I can’t find the wind symphony version of The Seal Lullaby”

Geordin: SECTIONAL HEAAALIIINNGGG

Yes yes yes, it’s that time again. The time before tour where we all scramble to placate Reid with numerous (though not superbly productive) sextionals. So, the material being covered…
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 15TH, COLLABORATIVE TIME:
Baksheesh: If you can’t do the runs with all the notes perfectly articulate at the tempo needed, don’t think about going home.
Black Horse Troop: Stratosphere stuff. Know your fingerings. Be ready to sing your part at GRANDIOSO.
Seal Lullaby: Remember that time when I said I was going to check if you memorized (approximately) C to D? Now’s the time. Work on memorizing beginning to A as well (General Reid’s orders, must obey).
Foundry: Time permitting, working on articulation and rhythm (touch-up stuff).
These will be the four pieces that we are taking on tour in a month and a half (not counting Spring Break). Those who CANNOT attend will make material up privately (through somewhat testing). Those who DO NOT attend will face very dire consequences.
Happy Monday!
